This exquisitely crafted square wood column, designed for Arts & Crafts, Mission, and Craftsman style cabinetry, features crisp, clean lines, acute proportion, and a distinctly formal stateliness. Turned on one of our vintage Mattison lathes by our exacting and detailed craftsman, these Morris columns are precisely balanced, finely detailed, and boast a formal and proud silhouette. Perfect for supporting large kitchen counters, islands, bathroom vanities, bookcases, mantles, and more. Strong enough to support stone counter-tops as well. V-Notch and position on the corners of large bar-height kitchen islands. Split and use to border the face of a bookcase. The limits of what our Morris columns can be used for is purely your own imagination. All parts are unfinished, sanded with 180-grit paper. Choose your finish.
NOTE: Always prepare your components properly. Before using paint, stain or varnish with your project, carefully inspect each component and prepare it to achieve the desired outcome. To finish your parts with natural oil, or you can buy Monocoat Natural Oil directly from us.
