Revolutionary technology. Great performance. Unlike traditional hardwax oils, Monocoat Natural Oil creates a durable, repairable, water-resistant finish that is sandable in under 24 hours. Matthew Burak, founder of TableLegs.com, says “For 40 years oil has been my finish of choice. Monocoat is simply the best oil finish ever—and every woodworking friend I’ve turned on to it agrees.” Like all oil finishes, it lets the natural beauty of the wood take center stage WITHOUT the problems usually associated with an oil finish—high VOCs, strong odors, less durability and long cure times. At TableLegs.com we use and sell the Pure clear oil finish, which adds richness and a touch of warmth.

Easy to apply with a foam brush or rag. You simply wipe off the excess and gently rub to a satin luster. For the best results on furniture we recommend two coats with a fine sanding in between.

A 2-part system. Monocoat oil (A) and accelerator (B) are sold together in the correct 3:1 ratio. Mix what you need before application—you can use the leftover mix for a couple days if stored correctly.

Easy on the environment. Monocoat Oil is made from renewable plant-based materials. It’s nontoxic, honey-scented, has very low VOCs and is LEED certified.

Timeless beauty: A finish that improves with age. Monocoat’s satin finish is long-lasting and highly forgiving. Minor scratches and normal aging only improves the natural beauty of the surface—no plastic or thin coating to chip or wear through. With proper maintenance this finish will last a lifetime.
