Our beefiest Foursquare coffee table leg is crafted from 3.5" stock and is ideal for supporting hefty or rustic coffee tables—the kind of stuff we use in Vermont. The Foursquare leg is perfect for “no fuss furniture” with no ornamentation, and works well when you desire visual emphasis on furniture components other than the legs, or in projects where a simple, squared look is the goal. Our Foursquare base is excellent for retro projects that showcase boxy style, or rustic projects that require an intentional look of strength and simplicity. This leg is scaled for tops in the 1’’ range. When calculating the size of your base, be sure to allow for the table top's overhang.

Our EasyBases (patent pending) rely on an ingenous interlocking system for a base that anyone can put together in minutes with just the supplied Allen (hex) wrench. Bases for traditional joinery use mortise and tenon construction, require glue, clamps and some DIY skill. This kind of base cannot be disassembled after gluing. Either system will result in a strong, rigid and durable table that will last for generations.

Legs: 4, 18" x 3.5" Foursquare Coffee Table Legs with radiused corners and mortises (LC-FSQU-18X)
Aprons: 4, 4" high square aprons with tenons, cut to length, with pocket holes for mounting the table top
Mounting screws to attach your table top

Unfinished or finished. You can order your base well-sanded without finish applied, or we can finish it for you using plant-based, non-toxic Monocoat Natural Oil.
