Foursquare Kitchen Table Base, 36 Inch Leg

Sturdy, honest and a wealth of possibilities: That's what you can expect from our new Foursquare design. Crafted from 3.5" stock, the Foursquare is a powerhouse of a leg design—strong, square and to the point. This base is ideal for supporting rustic kitchen islands and for use as a full-service table, or for supporting "no fuss" workbenches, standing tables or vanities. Scaled for table tops in the 1" range. When calculating the size of your base, be sure to allow for the table top's overhang.

Choose EasyBase assembly or traditional joinery. Our EasyBases (patent pending) rely on an ingenous interlocking system for a base that anyone can put together in minutes with just the supplied Allen (hex) wrench. Bases for traditional joinery use mortise and tenon construction, require glue, clamps and some DIY skill. This kind of base cannot be disassembled after gluing. Either system will result in a strong, rigid and durable table that will last for generations.

Your base will include:

• Legs: 4, 36" x 3.5" Foursquare Kitchen Table Legs with radiused corners and mortises (LK-FSQU-36)
• Aprons: 4, 5.75" high square aprons with tenons, cut to length, with pocket holes for mounting the top
• Mounting screws to attach your table top
• Assembly instructions

Unfinished or finished. You can order your base well-sanded without finish applied, or we can finish it for you using plant-based, non-toxic Monocoat Natural Oil.
