Danish kitchen minimalism. Within our line of table legs inspired by Danish furniture maker, Finn Juhl, this is the thinnest kitchen leg. Crafted from slightly thinner 2 ¾’’ stock, this leg features a gently tapering form on two sides, smoothly rounded corners and a light, airy silhouette. This quietly elegant leg is perfect for supporting kitchen islands, countertops or bar tops in many aesthetically different settings.

This leg is particularly striking when crafted from walnut or cherry, or in the traditional wood of the Danish, the oaks. Perfect for any Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, contemporary, or minimalist design. Compare to our Thin Hepplewhite Kitchen Leg which features sharp, right-angled corners as opposed to the gently radiused corners of the Juhl.

Finn Juhl, himself, was the designer who introduced America to Danish Modernism. Juhl’s work can be seen in any of the many chairs and tables he designed, along with the Trusteeship Council Chamber in the United Nations’ headquarters in New York City, which he designed and furnished. Juhl’s work has been a hallmark in modern and minimalist furniture design and craftsmanship, and our new line of table legs is homage to his unique Danish style. This leg is scaled for tops in the ¾‘’ range.
