Product Details

Scandinavian heft. Crafted from 3 ½’’ stock, this is our largest Juhl leg, inspired by the Danish furniture designer, Finn Juhl. Featuring a two-sided, smoothly tapering shaft with gently rounded corners and a striking silhouette. the leg is the perfect balance of lightweight form and minimalist style in a larger-size kitchen leg.

Finn Juhl designed and furnished the Trusteeship Council Chamber, the most visited space in the United Nations’ headquarters in New York City. His designs focused on the welcoming feeling that the space and furnishings inspired. Our new line of Juhl legs was designed to create the same effect. While larger than the rest of the legs within our Juhl line, the large Juhl kitchen leg offers a clean, Danish design that is perfect for supporting a large counter or bar top in even the most minimalist of kitchens.

This leg looks great in walnut, cherry, or the traditional Danish wood choice, the oaks, and is scaled for thicker tops in the 1’’ range. Perfect for any Mid-Century Modern, contemporary, Scandinavian, or minimalist design. Compare to our line of Hepplewhite legs, which are crisp, sharp and squared as opposed to the smooth, rounded form of the Juhl legs. Our Juhl legs blend Danish furniture tradition with a striving toward the future and development of furniture design. Well-balanced proportion, smooth form and a delicate silhouette are the hallmarks of this progressive table leg design, making our Large Juhl Kitchen Leg the perfect accompaniment to any modern kitchen.
