Foursquare Dining Table Base, 29 Inch Thin Leg

One base. Many styles. The super-clean lines of our Foursquare legs anchor this versatile table base. To make a Parsons table, add a 3/4” or 1” thick top the same size as the base. The slightly recessed aprons add dimension to the classic profile of the Parsons table—making for a more flexible design statement. Add a top that overhangs the base for a profile that is traditional and timeless, functional and elegant. As always, be sure to allow for the table top’s overhang—or no overhang—when calculating the size of your base. 

Choose EasyBase assembly or traditional joinery. Our EasyBase system relies on an interlocking system for a base that anyone can put together in minutes with just the supplied Allen (hex) wrench. Bases for traditional joinery use mortise and tenon construction, require glue, clamps and some DIY skill. This kind of base cannot be disassembled after gluing. Either system will result in a strong, rigid and durable table that will last for generations.

This table base is modeled on the Parsons Table. The Parsons table is unique in that the top of the table is flush with the legs. The Foursquare base allows you to reimagine the classic squared-off look. Adding an inch or more of overhang can make this design more suitable for use a dining or desk.
