Juhl Coffee Table Base, 18 Inch Thin Leg

Ultraminimal Mid-Century Modern. This leg design is ideal for any Mid-Century Modern project where a Danish accent is desired. The most delicate in our Juhl line, the leg is crafted from 1’’ stock, has smooth rounded corners, a tight, two-sided tapering form and clean, transitional fluidity. Our Juhl legs are inspired by the renowned Danish designer and furniture-maker Finn Juhl, who preferred to work with teak and other dark woods. We recommend that bases with this leg style be crafted from walnut, cherry, or the traditional Danish furniture wood choice, the oaks. The base is scaled for table tops in the ¾" range. When calculating the size of your base, be sure to allow for the table top's overhang.

Our EasyBases (patent pending) rely on an ingenous interlocking system for a base that anyone can put together in minutes with just the supplied Allen (hex) wrench. Bases for traditional joinery use mortise and tenon construction, require glue, clamps and some DIY skill. This kind of base cannot be disassembled after gluing. Either system will result in a strong, rigid and durable table that will last for generations.

• Legs: 4, 18" x 1.75" Juhl Coffee Table Legs with mortises (LC-JUHL-18T)
• Aprons: 4, 4" high square aprons with tenons, cut to length, with pocket holes for mounting the table top
• Mounting screws to attach your table top
• Assembly instructions
