Limbert Coffee Table Base, 18 Inch Leg

An aesthetically pleasing Craftsman coffee table. Something fresh for Craftsman-era furniture, with the perfect coffee table proportions. These table legs are named in honor of Charles Limbert, Craftsman designer and contemporary to Gustav Stickley. Broadly Arts and Crafts, similar to the designs of Stickley but with curves, this design features a stable base at the floor with two sides tapering upward into a subtle curving overhang. The base is scaled to balance well with table tops in the ¾" to 1" range. When calculating the size of your base, be sure to allow for the table top's overhang.

Bases for traditional joinery use mortise and tenon construction, require glue, clamps and some DIY skill. This kind of base cannot be disassembled after gluing. Either system will result in a strong, rigid and durable table that will last for generations.

• Legs: 4, 18" x 2.25" Limbert Coffee Table Legs with mortises (LC-LIMB-18)
• Aprons: 4, 4" high square aprons with tenons, cut to length, with pocket holes for mounting the table top
• Mounting screws to attach your table top
• Assembly instructions

Unfinished or finished. You can order your base well-sanded without finish applied, or we can finish it for you using plant-based, non-toxic Monocoat Natural Oil.
